Drew received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Drew received his Juris Doctor and Masters of Public Affairs from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He began his career working on Capitol Hill as a congressional staffer where he was responsible for advising some of our Nation’s top government officials and military officers.
Drew joined the Air Force JAG Corps in 2013. While a JAG, Drew successfully prosecuted and defended complex criminal trials, including cases involving sexual assault and child pornography. Drew was also once again responsible for providing legal advice to some of our highest military leaders. Drew left active duty in 2017 but continues to serve in the reserves. After leaving active duty, Drew represented a public state university and handled matters ranging from risk management, employment, and Title IX. He also has experience as a compliance office director responsible for issues related to equal employment, Title VII, and ADA.
Drew spent four years with the Washington State Office of the Attorney Generals as an Assistant Attorney General. Drew was responsible for child dependency cases and represented a community college. After that, Drew spent a brief time as an employment attorney for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs before joining Simmons Sweeney Freimund, Smith Tardif. Drew brings a wealth of experience in advising high level leaders and litigating complex matters.Outside of the office, Drew enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to fly fish, mountain bike, ski, and hike.
